It may have been Saturday, but sleeping in was not an option. After waking up early, I drove to the depressing town of Garland for a drone class. It was held at a Holiday Inn Express there. Don’t get me wrong, it was hugely informative and helpful, but man it could not have felt more rag-taggy. The class was pretty diverse, too. There was a girl from SMU, a VP of some production company out of Dallas, and a po-dunk country boy who “don’t know a whole lot about computers.” I got along with him best.
Once the class was over, I called Jayme, who met up with me at the hotel so she could snag our fridge. I guess she and Mitch ordered a refrigerator ages ago and it still hasn’t arrived. We still had the mini fridge that Wayne and Treva gave us (for free) sitting in the garage doing nothing, so we handed it off to the Dittos! Problem solved.
Back at home, I really wanted to fly the drone some more, so Emily and I took the dog to a nearby field/pond for test shots. While I was flying, Arri went NUTS and ran after a duck, jumping into the pond and literally swimming after it. She got in big trouble.
