My day got started EARLY today. Stephen wanted to go back out to south Dallas for a sunrise shot of downtown, so I got up at 4am so I could meet him down there at 5. We got our gear together, waded through the tall, snake-infested grass, and set up for our shot. It’s almost like camping, standing out there trading stories while you wait for the sun to come up. The whole experience was really fun, and it was especially cool that my alarm went off just as I pulled into the driveway back at home. Time to get up!
Before heading off to work, I even prepped some bread for baking later this evening. The IT dude came to take my computer away at work. While I moved a few files we hung out and talked about Tesla, which he initiated I promise! Once the computer was gone, Ahna, Michael had an afternoon out. We ate a quick lunch at Seoul Chicken (not terrible) and drove to the square to check out Junebug Clark’s work. There’s some great stuff in there! Naturally, all that art gave us a hankerin’ for some ice cream, so we made a stop at Beth Marie’s on our way back to the office. It was a lovely day at work!
Tonight, Emily and I finished baking the bread. I totally forgot to put our fancy cheese and rosemary in there, but it still breaded for us nonetheless. I can’t wait to take some to work tomorrow and share with my coworker peeps!
