After sleeping in and baking a couple loaves of bread, Emily and I decided to hit up Dallas. Even though we’re brunching there tomorrow, we figured we’d have more time to run our errands there if we knocked it out today. My people are coming to Denton tomorrow to help us hang the new laundry doors, so I don’t wanna interfere with that!
We started by visiting Emily’s favorite plant stores, Redenta’s and Sunshine Miniature Trees. One of the dudes working at Redenta’s is really strange and funny. He came up to us and said, “You guys look like adults. Want some figurines?” Apparently they’ve had some little terrarium figurines on sale for nearly two years and they haven’t sold one. Now they’re on sale! Did I mention they’re figurines of people having sex? Well, we have that now.
Emily tried to use her West Elm points to buy our final piece of living room furniture: an arm chair. Long storey short, it didn’t work out. We regrouped back in Denton and bought a different, more unique chair instead. I have a feeling Emily will unload her points tomorrow anyway.
